Au79 in Abbotsford is a light, open cafe and when I say the interior is huge, I mean WOW! Check it out. So much room between tables. There’s plenty of space to wheel, scoot, walk around without feeling rushed out of the way. You’re not limited to certain tables; they’re all standard height and chairs have back rests. I transferred off my scooter onto a chair and there was still ample room to leave it next to me!
Did I mention step free entry.
There’s an accessible toilet in the middle of the cafe. It’s easy to find, really decent size and the toilet has back support. Big tick from me.
There’s one accessible spot out the front to the left of the cafe. Underground carpark with accessible spots directly next door in the Hive 313 shopping centre via a lift. Otherwise street parking is available.
