Do yourself a favour and add Convoy, Moonee Ponds to your list of must visit Melbourne cafes.
Convoy is a large 140 seat cafe with equal parts indoor and outdoor space. The outdoor deck is huge, completely flat and has heaters for winter! All standard height tables on the deck with a mix of benches, stools and seats with backrests. Inside is a mixture of standard tables + chairs, booths or one high table with bar stools. Lots of different seating options with both outside and inside areas wide enough for aids or prams.
The ramp that leads into the cafe is one of the best I’ve seen for easy access. It’s wide, user friendly and designs like this make life a little easier!
The accessible toilet is inside down the back of the cafe. It’s big, has a backrest on the toilet and room for a baby change table.
Pascoe Vale Road is busy but street parking is available as well as 3 accessible spots in the vicinity.
Coffee is fab, food is delish and I can’t wait to come back to the deck in summer!
