Lui Bar. CBD
Looking for somewhere a bit extra for cocktails in Melbourne? I’ve found the perfect accessible spot! Look no further than Lui Bar!
Located up on the 55th floor of the Rialto Building, just follow the Vue de Monde signs through the Rialto concourse. A push-to-open door gets you inside, then simply take the lift to the top.
Once you exit the lift, you’ll find three steps up to the bar, but don’t worry, the staff will take you through their cellar, which doubles as a ramp!
The bar has incredible panoramic views of Melbourne. It’s a true cocktail lounge complete with jazz music, cozy couches, and armchairs. Spots for two by the window are the best seat in the house. I sat here and transferred to an armchair - I could’ve stayed in my chair and moved the armchair if needed. Larger groups are seated in the middle on couches - there’s not as much space here but it will definitely work. The tables are small side tables for drinks and snacks. Hot tip, the snacks are just as good as the cocktails.
The accessible toilet is a bit tight but functional, although it has no backrest.
For parking, there are accessible spots on Collins Street directly across the road and another on Collins just over King Street.
With its friendly staff, great vibes, and a fantastic espresso martini, it’s the perfect place to impress visitors to Melbourne or to treat yourself.
