Club Chin Chin. Geelong
Get ready for a fun, new dining experience at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong with Club Chin Chin!
Located in the brand new Joel Selwood Stand, you can find the entrance at Gate 16. It’s hard to miss, with two bright pink lifts that take you up to level 1 to the restaurant.
As soon as you enter you’ll be met by a spacious, lively atmosphere filled with plenty of tables. There’s a great mix of standard seating + tables and high tables with stools, all set far apart for easy movement. Unlike the Melbourne location, this space is huge and there’s plenty of room for prams and aids. If you’re a footy fan like me, there’s a great view of the ground and packages are available on match days.
Finding the toilets is really easy, with clear signage leading you to both ambulant and accessible toilets down a wide hallway. There’s even an accessible toilet conveniently located near the lifts before you enter the restaurant. Changing place facility is located ground level adjacent to the sports museum.
There’s accessible parking scattered throughout the carpark at GMHBA. Gate 16 is not directly where the carpark is so you do have to walk around the ground. I found it easiest to cut through the netball courts as there’s still some construction on the concourse near the new stand which meant you have to go onto the grass.
Club Chin Chin combines all the classic Chin Chin dishes with some new additions. Big 80’s vibe with the tunes and a big tick for accessibility made for a great lunch!
