Yakimono. CBD
Nestled in the heart of the city is shopping and dining precinct 80 Collins, where you’ll find the neon lights of Japanese inspired eating house Yakimono.
Set over 2 floors, you'll notice the staircase that takes you up to Yakimono on the first floor. There's no lift in the foyer, however they share a lift with Society restaurant directly next door that will take you straight inside. You won’t miss them.
There's the option of standard chairs + tables with bench seating against the window or bar tables + stools overlooking the open kitchen. It's a narrow walkway in between tables so I'd recommend placing a note when booking if you require wheelchair access so they can allocate an appropriate table. There's more seating on level 2 (that wasn't being used at lunch time when we went). There's an outdoor terrace and booths on this level that I can imagine gets busy at night.
The accessible toilet is located on level 2 accessed via the lift. The toilet is large inside and extra clean.
A few accessible parking spots nearby. There's 2 spots on Exhibition Street and 1 on Little Bourke Street. All 3 spots couldn't get much closer.
A high energy space that’s accessible and well worth the visit if you love Japanese like me!
