Cafe serving breakfast + lunch

Weekends 8am-3pm

Newcomer to South Melbourne, Clementine does brunch + access very well.

Clementine is housed in an office building with entry via steps at the front. There’s ramp access on the side that leads into the cafe. The door is secure so I needed to be buzzed in by a staff member. Once inside it was a breeze!

Light, bright and open inside, the space is roomy enough for aids of any kind. I transferred off my scooter and onto a chair; with plenty of room to do so. All tables are standard height and chairs are sturdy with backrests, apart from two long communal tables at the front with stools - this would be suitable for a wheelchair user though.

Accessible toilets are located on basement level of the building which is easily accessed via the lift. Given it’s a brand new building, the toilet so clean and the layout is huge. There’s even a shower.

The parking is not overly user friendly, there’s permit parking on one side of the street but we did manage to find an accessible spot just around the corner, big win!

Food is delicious with a creative menu, no smashed avo here. Staff were super friendly and attentive. I’ll be back soon.
