Levi. Murrumbeena
Light-filled Murrumbeena cafe Levi sits in an old denim factory and is a must visit; the access here is pretty much perfect in terms of access!
The entrance is completely flat via a large garage type door. There’s another door next to it that is also step free.
The space has a warehouse vibe and is huge inside. Seating 170 people, there’s 3 distinct areas of the cafe - the front, middle and the back. The front is nice and bright and opens onto the street, the back has larger tables that would be good for groups. Tables are mostly standard height and chairs have backrests or bench seats. There are some higher tables with stools at the very back. I loved how easy it was to navigate all throughout the venue. Plenty of room for aids or prams!
The accessible toilet is down the very back. It has a baby change table and a backrest on the toilet; it’s very user friendly.
Parking is really easy, there’s 6 accessible spots directly opposite in the carpark at Murrumbeena train station. I went on the weekend and all 6 spots were free - not sure how busy it is on a weekday.
Great food, coffee and ease of access means I’d absolutely visit again.
