ST. ALi. South Melbourne
Leading the way in Melbourne’s cafe scene since 2005, ST. ALi South Melbourne do access, brunch and coffee pretty damn well.
Hidden down Yarra Place, the entrance to both inside and outside areas is completely step free!
Take your pick of either indoor or outdoor dining; both areas are accessible! The outdoor terrace area has all standard height tables + chairs. Inside has a warehouse feel, complete with a little general store. Inside you’ll find a mixture of seating options - plenty of standard tables + chairs, booths and a few bar stools. It’s big and open and you definitely don’t feel close to the table next to you. Inside is wide enough for aids and outside, although a touch narrower on the footpath, I could leave my scooter next to me with ample room.
There’s an ambulant toilet inside with grab rails and a large accessible one with a baby change table.
Two accessible parking spots on Coventry Street. I didn’t manage to grab one but there’s plenty of parallel street parking on Coventry Street that worked for me.
There’s a reason why they’ve been around since 2005, they have arguably some of the best coffee in Melbourne. Caffeine addicts, you won’t be disappointed.
