Stokehouse Pasta & Bar. St Kilda
Sand-level sibling to St Kilda institution the Stokehouse, Stokehouse Pasta & Bar is just metres from the beach and is very much accessible.
Ground floor means it is completely step free throughout including the entrance from Jacka Blvd, which has nice wide doors.
Inside the dining area is a mix of standard tables + chairs and couch type seats. There are high stools as you walk in to sit at the counter. I was lucky enough to get a window spot that overlooks St Kilda beach. It’s a big space, but there’s lots of tables so it took a little bit of manoeuvring to get to my table. There was enough room to leave my scoot next to me once seated though.
The accessible toilet is just down a hallway from the dining area. It’s a really decent size, with a backrest on the toilet and a baby change table.
Parking is available in the carpark across the road on Jacka Blvd. There’s one accessible spot in the driveway of the Stokehouse and one on Jacka Blvd out the front of Donovans.
Accessible with pasta + wine with a view! Another spot to put on your list.
