Mornington Peninsula Brewery

Sunday - Wednesday: 11am-5pm

Thursday - Saturday: 11am - 9pm

On a recent visit to the Mornington Peninsula, I stopped by @sab.brewery to check out its accessibility. The brewery calls the quaint coastal town of Fingal home - and fun fact: it’s set in a former stables!

A flat, smooth paved entry (no loose stones in sight) and a wide gated entrance make arriving a breeze.

The space is huge! Outdoors, there’s a mix of beer garden picnic tables, standard tables + chairs with backrests, and private stable booths. Just a heads up: those booths are up one step. Inside is completely step free with standard height tables + chairs. You can order at the bar or skip the queue with QR code ordering at the tables - love that.

There are two accessible toilets, though only one was open when I visited. It’s off to the side of the beer garden near the entrance, spacious with grab rails and a backrest - a solid setup.

Major win: the gravel car park offers not one, but two accessible spots, both asphalted to dodge any loose gravel. It’s the small, thoughtful touches like this that really stand out!

If beer’s your thing, this one’s well worth a visit. And if it’s not? Don’t worry - I had a local wine instead. Cheers to good access and great vibes!
