The Graham Hotel. Port Melbourne
Port Melbourne gastropub the Graham Hotel has refined dining, pub classics and casual drinks covered in a series of different spaces. They’re also very much accessible.
Step free entrance is on the side street, Esplanade West, made even better with a push to open door that gets you straight into the dining room!
The dining room is cosy with lots of natural light and a fireplace. There’s a mix of booth seating and standard seating with backrests. Parts of the dining room are a bit tighter to navigate but I was given a table that was easier to get to. All tables in the dining room are standard height. They also have a front bar, private dining room and a lift up to the 2nd level. Lots of seating outside too for a casual drink. I found there was enough space making it pretty easy to move around the whole venue.
Past the kitchen and bar is a hallway that leads to the toilets. They have both an ambulant and accessible toilet. The accessible toilet has a backrest and baby change table.
There’s two accessible parking spots on Graham Street as well as street parking.
One of the few places I’ve visited where there’s no big doors to open. The push to open door feature means I can enter and exit independently; makes a big difference. I’ll definitely be making a return visit.
